SODRUGESTVO GROUP NAMES STEPHANE FRAPPAT CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICE
The Board of Directors of the Sodrugestvo Group named Stéphane Frappat Group Chief Executive Officer starting July 1st, 2008.
Stéphane (b.1967) is French and has worked in Russia since 1990, when he set up an office for Avomark, a French consulting company. Although he was trained as a civil servant at Science-Po in Bordeaux (88), most of his carreer has been corporate as CFO for Burlington Holdings (a leading real-estate service provider in Moscow), General Director of Aventis Animal Nutrition for the CIS, and eventually founder and managing partner of Camden Partners, a corporate financial consultancy. Stéphane also held various positions in the Rhone-Poulenc and Aventis French offices,as well as the position of COO of Sodrugestvo in 2001-2002, and later served as Board member of the Company. He speaks fluent French, English and Russian.
In the position of C.E.O., Stéphane Frappat will replace Alexander V. Lutsenko who keeps the office of Chairman of the Board of the Sodrugestvo Group, where he will focus on the strategic development of the Company.
Sodrugestvo (www.sodrugestvo.com) has been founded by Alexander and Natalia Lutsenko in 1994. It is now the leading importer, crusher and distributor of soybeans in Russia, the C.I.S. countries and the Baltic region, as well as one of the largest players on the Russian oilseeds market. Sodrugestvo has its head office and main production facility in the Kaliningrad Oblast. Sodrugestvo has more than 2,000 collaborators in 15 countries.
